History of Clarence H Beavers Lodge #124

Clarence H. Beavers Lodge #124, operating at RAF Alconbury of the 13 th Masonic District of England, Maryland Jurisdiction was issued a Charter on 12 November 1968 by the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge, State of Maryland and Jurisdiction, authorizing them to work as a Masonic Lodge. The Dedication, Consecration and Installation Ceremonies took place on December 28, 1968 in building 268 RAF Alconbury. The ceremonies were conduced by Deputy Grand Master District #12, Western Europe , and Clarence H. Beavers 33 rd Degree. Assisting the Deputy Grand Master in the ceremonies were special Assistants John LeMaster. Theodore R. Montgomery and Walter L. Miller. Also assisting were Past Masters Frank Burnett and Theodore Riley.

It is the oldest recognized private organization operating in the Tri-Base (RAF Alconbury, Molesworth and Upwood) community. Since its dedication, the Lodge has had 27 individuals lead-they have the title of Worshipful Master—the organization is involved in numerous community and charity activities.
